/ Challenge
The challenge was to create a robot that can do a certain task from scratch. We have no set parts to use, its all our choice of which ones to got, we have no template for our code, its all our choice of what to do.
/ Provided Services
Building the Robot
Our team has to build a robot to do certain tasks provided when the season is released. We order parts from the internet, with no compusery parts. We have to CAD and design our robot before ordering. We take the time to put it all together and make the robot to the best of our ability.
Coding the Robot
Our group also has to code the robot from scratch. We use Java as our coding langauge and code 2 parts, Auto and Driver controled. Auto is that the robot automatically does some of the set taks and driver controled is when one or more of our drivers control parts of the robot to do the main part of the set task.
Testing and Competing
We continuously test our codes, robot and new addons to our bot to make sure all parts are working to the best possibility.
/ What is Sponsorship & Why we need it
Meet Timmy 2.0, our national competing robot from the 2025 DECODE season of FTC. This robot is built, coded and tested from scratch. It competed in the brisbane FTC competion and made top 5, we than went to nationals in sydney, unfortunately not getting the results we wanted.
/ Tech stack
Coding
At the core of the project lies a semantic html structure paired with modern css techniques. Flexible layouts, responsive behavior and clean styles ensure consistency across devices.
Node.js & NPM
A simple build environment was used to manage dependencies and streamline development. Npm packages support tooling, workflow automation and easier project maintenance.
GSAP
Animations are powered by gsap to create smooth, precise motion throughout the interface. Scroll-based effects and micro-interactions enhance usability.
